Quality Education
Education is an important aspect that plays a huge role in the modern, industrialized world. People need a quality good education to be able to survive in this competitive world. Education is the most important ingredient to change the world. Due to lack of education, many illiterate people suffer the hardships of discrimination, untouchability & injustices prevailing in the society but with the advancement of a good education. Without educated people, this world can’t become a better place.
If all the people will be educated; this ultimately leads to the upliftment of economically weaker sections of society. That is why proper education is needed to turn this world into a better place. Hence, we can conclude that for the evolution of a country, there is a need for education.
In order to address the issue, Enlighten-World Foundation is working to create awareness and launch educational projects in collaboration with local educational institutions.
Our Project
The boarder aspect of our education project aims to improve the access to quality education in line with the modern business and global requirements so that everyone gets the equal opportunity to prove in the competitive working environment & get employment opportunity to change the individual economic status and contribute for the development of the social in a larger scale. In order to make this project, successful we launch our programs in collaboration with local educational institutions to mobilize the resources and engage the teachers and community people for sustainable scale up of the projects in a longer run.
The specific objectives of the project are to increase the number of student’s enrolment in the educational institution’s from the underprivileged community of Bangladesh and inspire and engage the parents and community leaders to reduce the number of dropout rate through education and to empower the households of poor children economically.
Solution
Enlighten-World Foundation has taken 360 approaches to involve all the stakeholders of the community to advocate for bringing the qualitative changes in the mainstream education system to onboard the children of underprivileged community. Therefore, we create partnership with the local institutions and develop their expertise through ICT based training and mobilize the local expertise through volunteerism to make this projects sustainable. Moreover, we also launch projects to encourage and empower the parents of underprivileged children so that they do not face the financial hardship to continue their children education.
Key Challenges
Education is essential for fighting against poverty and lead a better life beating all the adverse situations. However, still access to quality education is very less in the underprivileged community of Bangladesh. Therefore, are many reasons like lack of sufficient funding for getting the education, having no teacher, or having an untrained teacher, a lack of updated learning materials, being the ‘wrong’ gender, and the expense of education in the mainstream education system.
Enlighten-World Foundation has taken the initiatives to train the teachers and volunteer in the underprivileged community and to support the underprivileged children education by empowering their families in economically sustain projects so that they can support, encourage and engage with the community people for the bright future of their children.
Long-Term Impact
Our long term plan is to ensure quality education for children of underprivileged community of Bangladesh through proper application of ICT tools using the local resources and also empower their families economically. Enlighten-world Foundation will provide support which like: learning materials, access to latest technology and training for the overall development of the education system.

ADOLESCENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (ADP)
Bangladesh has an adolescent and youth population of approximately 52 million, amounting to 1/3rd of the country’s total population. This significant percentage, however, will not remain unchanged for very long and it is projected that by 2050, only 10-19% of Bangladesh’s population will consist of young people (UNFPA 2014). What this means for a country like Bangladesh is that it needs to invest in the human capital of young people and focus on meeting their needs without further delay. It is only then the country will be able to reap the benefits of this investment by having a more educated, healthy and productive population during the second half of the century.
We are focusing to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) # 04 (adopted by all UN Member States in 2015), Quality Education “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote life-long learning opportunities for all” and help our government to achieve SDG by 2030.
To achieve the SDG # 4; this project title “Adolescent Development Program (ADP)” is focusing on develop adolescent’s mind set through Non-Formal educational activities beside the formal education systems.
Considering the SDG# 4 and focus on the objective of improving the quality of life of adolescent by developing their habits during adolescent (i.e. Adolescents’ engage in risky behavior, such as smoking, drug use, breaking laws, oppression of women, corruptions and developing civil sense, ethics & morale, Adolescence and Puberty); we will be going to encouraging 0.2 Million adolescents (Approx. thousand institutions, where 75% secondary level and 25% higher secondary level) by 2022.
Adolescence is often considered a bridge between childhood and adulthood (approximately ages 11–19). Adolescence is a time of rapid biological, psychological, cognitive, emotional and social change. Each teenager is an individual with a unique personality and special interests, likes, and dislikes. However, there are also numerous developmental issues that everyone faces during the adolescent years. Where a number of significant changes occur in a relatively short period of time. By providing a safe and supportive environment, counselling/facilitations program can help adolescent to develop flexibility and to grow up well. Additionally, teachers and school staff will also build positive and respectful relationships with young people to promote positive development.

Good Health & Well-bring Project
Enlighten-world Foundation, a humanitarian-based organization, work to improve the healthcare services in the communities especially the rural poor through diverse, sustainable and effective healthcare activities, in order to mitigate the critical and cost-effective input of essential health services, development of the child health and strengthen health system at low cost. Enlighten-world Foundation focuses on the increased accessibility of public health facilities in the target area by defining and decreasing the vulnerable diseases from the community.
Enlighten-world Foundation health program aimed at providing an essential health service package for women, children and the poor, reaching the underprivileged and deprived community Enlighten-world Foundation frontline community health service provides door to door service to the community people. Health has universally recognized an important aspect of human development. Without the development of health, overall development is not possible. The highest attainable standard of health is a fundamental right of every human being. Keeping this in mind Enlighten-world Foundation has planned to implement different health programs such as nutrition supplementation, health checkup, prevention (vaccine and disease control), general treatment, special case studies, community health worker mobilization, reproductive health care and the health service advocacy.
To implement the health service, Enlighten-world Foundation Health has reached the destitute community through community health workers (CHWs) who provide and ensure door to door health service by facilities guardian, promote MNH services, do a home visit, cluster meeting and awareness session in the community.

Women Empowerment Program
Migrant Worker Development Program
It is considered that remittances earned by overseas workers have been contributed in a major economic stake for the development of the economy of Bangladesh. As an overpopulated and poverty-stricken country, Bangladesh took the opportunity to transfer its abundant manpower to different foreign countries and earn remittances. Up to April 2019, according to the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET), approximately 12.42 billion people migrated to more than 165 countries. The country reached a milestone in building its foreign currency reserves as it received record 15.54 billion USD in remittance in 2018. The female workers’ migration from Bangladesh is also scaling up comparing with the number of their male counterparts. Since 1991, more than seven lakh females have migrated either as domestic workers or as garments workers. However, in process of going abroad and staying there, these workers are facing difficulties in communication and knowing the foreign culture. Enlighten-world Foundation is arranging training and skills enhancement program for the betterment of the migrant’s workers of Bangladesh.
Positive Parenting Development Program
Enlighten-world Foundation regularly arranged parenting programs to educate the parents for the development of the children.
Professional Skills Development Program
Enlighten-world Foundation regularly conduct both online and in person training sessions on different topics for the development of young professionals so they can do well in getting the employment opportunity through proving their knowledge, skills and abilities.
Advocacy
Enlighten-world Foundations advocacy is a convention of interventions that emphasis on firming the system (both formal and informal elements) at the community level, consequently empowering communities and local partners to strengthen the child protection from abuse, neglect, exploitation and other forms of violence and aware woman about their rights through issue-based meetings, campaign and day observation. Advocacy braces both the protective environment for women and children, as well as improve their well-being and fulfill their rights to endure. It speaks out for children and empowering them to speak out for themselves.
Advocacy is an integral and essential part of Enlighten-world Foundation programming which makes a strong contribution to strengthening the vulnerable community by changing the policies, systems, practices, awareness building program, communities meet and arranging seminars in the community. Enlighten-world Foundation advocacy program is driven by the community, including the child, Youth, and women that empowers the community and bring sustainable well-being among the vulnerable. On the way to make advocacy more effective, Enlighten-world Foundation coalition a bridge between community and higher levels of government to provide effective services to the vulnerable groups through reducing the stigma and discrimination of children and women, improving the access of quality services, including protective, education and health, elimination of harmful practices, such as child marriage, female genital damage, sexual harassment, provide legal support, educate and empower families and children to understand local laws, child rights, policies and practices, and legal services. Moreover, GNB helps to bring the long-lasting positive changes for the children and women.
Enlighten-world Foundation, advocacy is a long-term process which improves one’s lives, by building their skills and confidence, create opportunities for civil society groups to take part indecision-making, and addressing society’s norms and attitudes.

Research & Development (R&D)
Human uplift is quite impossible without research and development. Human being is solely dependent upon natural resources and resources based life support systems. Bangladesh caters a huge population for which new and sustainable products, procedures, techniques are urgently required. Enlighten-world Foundations Research & Development (R&D) department will focus on developing new and effective herbal medicines for common lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, blood pressure, hypertension etc. We shall also focus on developing techniques for improvement of living standard of poor people at a negligible cost.
Enlighten-world Foundations works in the area of all disciplines; like Health & Nutrition, Education & Poverty, Energy, Sustainable Development Etc.
Enlighten-world Foundations believes that for a perfect work, a perfect planning is necessary. For a perfect planning and for good work Enlighten-world Foundations first develop our Research & Development department. This Department works in the various segment for the development of our society and with our R & D techniques we make our planning simpler and take them to new vision.
As we know, Research is essential for Development. Enlighten-world Foundations research and development department plays an integral role in the life cycle of our working and planning. Before a new working of Enlighten-world Foundation, a research and development department conducts a thorough study to support the project. The research also is likely to include an evaluation of the need for the work and plan before the design begins to ensure that the way for working we plan is suitable for us or not.
